The Holidays

The only four days the facility celebrates.

Celebrated holidays

Experiments celebrate four holidays:

These are the only holidays celebrated in the facility.

The anniversary of the rebellion is the one holiday the experiments made themselves. Every year on that day, they celebrate their freedom and the day they took the facility for themselves.

Decorations

Ahead of each holiday, the higher-ups order decorations so everything is ready in time. When the day comes, the facility is decorated to match the occasion.

Where the holidays came from

When experiments learn about humans in school, they're only taught the essentials. Nothing about human holidays is ever mentioned. Because of this, most experiments have no idea whether these holidays were made by humans or by experiments.

The Sawrathists have heard rumors that the holidays are actually human-made. But nobody else believes them. Most experiments already think the believers are crazy, so this just sounds like one more wild thing they say (see the Faith).
